Why is Pack N Play mattress so hard?

This advice holds true even more so for a pack and play vs a normal crib. The mattresses are firmer, and that’s intentional! As it’s a portable crib with fabric sides (instead of the wooden slats of a crib), a pack and play is designed to have an even thinner and firmer mattress deliberately. Sept 27, 2021
